About the Film: “Cheburashka 2” (2026)
A new chapter of the family blockbuster.
Cheburashka has been living with Gena for a year. As he grows up, he becomes more independent — and sometimes mischievous — while Gena tries his best to guide him. Their home is under threat of demolition to make way for a new amusement park.
Meanwhile, it’s the birthday of Sofia, granddaughter of the notorious Rimma Shapoklyak. During the celebration, Cheburashka accidentally ruins the party and, hoping to avoid another argument, secretly runs away to the mountains with Sofia and Grisha.
There they encounter breathtaking landscapes, adventures and unexpected dangers. When the adults discover the children are missing, they join forces to bring them home — and everyone must learn to listen, understand and make things right.
